It was clear that Larry Brown would be
back coaching again, we just didn't know when or
where. Those questions were answered on Tuesday, when the Charlotte Bobcats hired him to become the team's third head coach since they joined the NBA during the 2004-05 season. The announcement comes just three days after Charlotte fired coach Sam Vincent.

after one season. The team announced the move Saturday.
The fourth-year franchise had hoped to make the playoffs for the first time this season. But the Bobcats went 32-50, and that put Vincent's job in jeopardy.

Although Emeka Okafor's numbers have been fairly consistent,
there has been a noticible decline in som eo
f the "effort" areas. Apparently, Sam Vincent has noticed. Saturday night's game against Miami saw Okafor on the floor for only 23 minutes. Are we preparing for the end of the Okafor era?

third season in a row, as they have another
