It's never easy watching players regress, and this
season some rather big names experienced significant downticks in
production. Two of them were Chicago Bulls when the season began (one has since been traded), two were key performers in the Greatest Circus on Earth, and one is a well-paid benchwarmer (thanks Kevin McHale).

Kobe Bryant was one point away from becoming
just the fourth player in NBA history with a
50 point/10 assist game–a feat I call the +70. LeBron James had one this year against the Knicks, Stephon Marbury did it with the Suns and then you have to go back to 1975 when Kareem Abdul Jabbar accomplished the feat with 50 points/15 boards/11 assists.
