Certainly I am a man-child. Farting is still exceedingly funny to me. Also funny–people trying to use words they don’t really understand. Malaprops. And double entendres. Vinny Del Negro hit the trifecta there, both during his presser and a post-presser interview on WSCR-AM. He spoke about “presenting his package”, and not once but twice mentioned “predeceived notions”. This could be fun, Chicago.

I don’t see how turning down $50 million guaranteed cannot cause regret, but I guess he wouldn’t admit that publicly now, would he? What I am curious to see with Gordon is how his game is different with Del Negro as the coach. Will he go to the basket more? More fast breaks?

Ben Gordon returns to the team after signing a one year tenure and would be interested in resigned next summer after turning down contract offers two consectutive summers? His return also creates a log jam at guard that head coach Vinny del Negro will have to deal with.

Earlier KG had spoke of the preparedness of Dwane Casey. Casey has a ton of experience, both as a Head Coach and an assistant. You’d think he’d be the perfect guy to bring in to lead a young ballclub. Or what of Tom Thibadeau? Guess what? Vinny Del Negro isn’t going anywhere. Why not wait until the Finals are over to give him an interview? Wouldn’t that be due diligence?
