It wasn't until the 22-game winning streak that
Rafer was finally absolved from the AND1 stigma, and
all the haters really couldn't find anything to complain about. It is true that he was at his best, but his tough NBA journey led him to this inevitable year.
With Labor Day approaching, fantasy pundits are preparing
their rankings, sleepers, busts, and naughty and nice lists
like Santa on Christmas Eve. Yet as we all prepare to look ahead, sometimes we can learn more by looking back. A great man once said: those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it

My lunchtime Interwebs browsing brought me over to
ESPN... where I saw these predictions/projections for 2008/09 .
Funny this is -- I can't really come up with much of a legitimate argument to say why ESPN is misguided or flat out wrong in this ...
I can't understand a single syllable of Chinese,

Why India? Economic reasons initially (over a billion
people, developing middle class, not soccer crazy) as the
NBA can make a lot of money on TV deals as professional sports don't get much air play. There's also a subtle social agenda as well -- but really, you kinda want to give it a shot just for the chance to see this guy in the Turban yelling at refs in Punjabi as an assistant coach, right?
The U.S. Government has given NBA teams the
license to negotiate with Iranian national team center Hamed
Haddadi, as well as his teammate.
Because everybody loves lists! I tried to come
up with 10 guys, but really these are the
only ones who stood out as either men-of-the-minute because of what they did last season, or are guys who I feel are perennially overvalued and taken higher than they should be. Maybe I’m just being pessimistic, but these are the guys that I probably won’t be drafting because someone else is likely to overpay.
With the Beijing Olympics coming to an end

Yao Ming spoke of his disappointment that China

The greatest and most important aspect of the

Today, the four quarter finals of the Olympic
Basketball Tournament for Men saw only one close game.
Luckily, I had the possibility to see at least the second half of this thriller. The day started with the game between Spain and Croatia. And Spain came up with a nice 13 points win over a Croatian team that lost the game already in the first quarter where the Spanish build their lead to ...
During the remainder of the Olympic men's basketball
