It wasn't until the 22-game winning streak that
Rafer was finally absolved from the AND1 stigma, and
all the haters really couldn't find anything to complain about. It is true that he was at his best, but his tough NBA journey led him to this inevitable year.

The NBA has announced that the Milwaukee Bucks
will face the Golden State Warriors in The China
Games, to be held in Beijing and Guangzhou on October 18 and 15, respectively. The Beijing game will be the first event staged in the arena after the Olympics and the Guangzhou game will be the NBA's first foray into that city. No doubt the NBA are excited to have Yi Jianlian playing in China..whoops..

Why India? Economic reasons initially (over a billion
people, developing middle class, not soccer crazy) as the
NBA can make a lot of money on TV deals as professional sports don't get much air play. There's also a subtle social agenda as well -- but really, you kinda want to give it a shot just for the chance to see this guy in the Turban yelling at refs in Punjabi as an assistant coach, right?

Because everybody loves lists! I tried to come
up with 10 guys, but really these are the
only ones who stood out as either men-of-the-minute because of what they did last season, or are guys who I feel are perennially overvalued and taken higher than they should be. Maybe I’m just being pessimistic, but these are the guys that I probably won’t be drafting because someone else is likely to overpay.
