PFW has learned that three potential top-10 picks
have admitted to using marijuana. Georgia Tech WR Calvin
Johnson, Clemson DE Gaines Adams and Louisville DT Amobi Okoye, according to multiple sources who have watched the interviews, all admitted to using marijuana.
This is dedicated to the players who only
shoot the ball smooth as silk when there's a
hand in their face. The great shooters of each conference who can't hit a free throw to save their souls. These...are the Brandan Wright All-Stars of the ACC.

Our first cheap shot candidates from the postseason.
The top video is rather disturbing and it comes
from the Clemson-Auburn matchup in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Clemson defensive tackle Dorell Scott briefly engages guard Tyronne Green high before shedding that block. He then penetrates the line of scrimmage and is chop blocked by Ryan Pugh. Every football fan in the land should be outraged at ...
WHAT'S TO LOVE: Clemson came on strong at
the end of last year, despite being relegated to
the NIT. K.C. Rivers is just beginning to realize his full potential after coming off of the bench for most of last season. WHATS NOT TO LOVE: Clemson has always been a middle-to-lower tier team in the ACC. That’s a hard habit to break. The key is to at least break even in-conference.
Push Off Video, Rod Gardner, USC vs Clemson
2000. The game was decided on a very questionable
call. I guess I should call it a non call.

04/20/07 A report that Calvin Johnson admitted to using
marijuana probably won't affect Johnson's value in the upcoming NFL draft, Georgia Tech football coach Chan Gailey said Thursday. "I ...
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is the only bowl game
that I’m sure I got my prediction right. The
Tigers will win. Either the Auburn Tigers (8-4) or the Clemson Tigers (9-3), now we’ll just have to figure out which one.
When you have two teams that can play
head to head you wish neither would lose. That’s
what happened in the Chick-fil-A Bowl yesterday when Auburn and Clemson squared off. And just like it should have been, when the final whistle blew for the end of the 4th quarter the two teams were dead even at 17.
North Carolina started off their ACC season in
a way that wasn’t quite expected, but they closed
out their first game in a way that, as a Tar Heel, has to make you proud and hopeful of what could be come March Madness. North Carolina (15-0) entered LittleJohn Coliseum to play a top 20 foe in Clemson (12-2) and left the building with a 2 point victory in overtime, 90 to 88.
North Carolina (18-0, 3-0 ACC) comes home to
play Maryland (11-7,1-2 ACC) in the friendly confines of
the Dean Dome and on national television (ABC, 3:30 PM EST). After the Georgia Tech game, where the Heels narrowly escaped with a one point win, and the one against Clemson, a two point win in overtime, the Heels must be happy to be playing at home again. But are the Heels vulnerable?
A huge win foe the South Carolina Gamecocks!
Alright, It's time for Rusty to weigh in
on this here little argument. Seems some nut over
at an unnamed national sports news web site, posted a bonehead list of stadiums in the ACC ranked by toughness. As you can imagine, several REAL ACC fans took umbrage with that list. Those responses are below.
Let’s get ready to rumble, it’s time for
the ACC! The North Carolina men’s basketball team begins
conference play as the top ranked team in America with a record of 14-0 when they meet #19 Clemson (12-1) tomorrow at Little John Coliseum.
After an emotional game versus Clemson and the
fight against Kenny George of UNC Asheville, the top
ranked Tar Heels are set to take on one of their main rivals, North Carolina State (11-3, 0-0 ACC). The Wolfpack invade the Dean Dome at noon today to play against a North Carolina (16-0, 1-0 ACC) team that is looking to remain one of the five undefeated teams in men’s college baskteball.
Work left to do: Florida State , Miami
(FL) , Clemson , Wake Forest , North Carolina
State , Virginia , Virginia Tech , Boston College After UNC and Duke, this conference is a complete mess right now. Can anyone say who the third-best team is with any ...
Barry Richardson was a four-year starter at his
college. The senior from Clemson has size and strength,
as well as the skills to be among the best tackles at the combine and in the draft. The drawback on Richardson is that he has neither foot technique nor the burst off the line. If he makes it to the NFL, it will only be on the right side of the line.
Chris McDuffie has played offensive guard, but is
being listed as a defensive tackle at the combine.
The senior from Clemson played on defense until his last season in college, so maybe the scouts figure he is best suited there. Three separate draft sites show that McDuffie did play offensive guard last year but is listed as a defensive tackle at the combine. Having said all of that, last year McD
