In one of the oddest moves in recent
memory ESPN is passing on every Division 1-A contest
to head to Division III Williams College to get you hyped for the Williams Purple Cows (Ephs) versus the Amherst Lord Jeffery Amhersts. I'm not kidding. For some strange reason ESPN is passing on heading to the CAL-USC game, the Florida-South Carolina Game, the UCONN-Cincy game, the Illinois-OSU ...
Freshman RB Chris Rainey is overflowing with potential.
Lightning quick and a star on Lakeland's state championship
team, Rainey should get plenty of chances to breakthrough to the Gators' first team. Rainey is also a master of the English language. ...

Oklahoma, Alabama and Penn State Make Strong Statements.
Apparently coaches of top-ranked teams didn't read my latest
post, discussing the need for the remaining BCS national championship hopefuls to take USC's loss to Oregon State as a warning.
The Elk Valley Times is reporting on a
very interesting development. Lincoln County inmates in Tennessee have
to wear pink instead of orange . The inmates can all blame Nathan Childress. This bright young gentleman escaped from his guards and ran up the street and just blended in. No one called the police.
A quick look at the man who invented
Gatorade and about a hundred videos of the best
and worst Gatorade commercials.
This week's Florida-Tennessee contest got a lot more
interesting when Gators linebacker Brandon Spikes made several disparaging
remarks regarding the Vols. Spikes went as far to say the Volunteers were "quitters" and just gave up last season during Florida's 59-20 beat down of the Vols.
Will the gators be ready to face hawaii?
Even with all the injuries?
I have it on good authority the Southern
California Trojans are dying to meet an SEC opponent
in the BCS national championship this January at the Orange Bowl. My sources in the greater Los Angeles area tell me USC wants to prove the mighty SEC isn't all that mighty.
After another embarrassing loss to the Florida Gators
Saturday afternoon in Knoxville, former Tennessee head coach General
Robert Neyland is probably rolling in his grave. Losing to the 4th ranked team in the nation isn't the issue - it's how the Vols lost the game.
For those of you wondering why ESPN didn’t
run Knowshon Moreno’s hurdling highlight on either SportsCenter or
its College Football Final shows highlights Saturday night, Georgia coach Mark Richt was wondering, too. Moreno literally leaped ...
Charley reacts to Florida's loss
Fans by now know the legend of Tim
Tebow by rote: he plays quarterback as well as
anyone in America, sings on stage with the stars of country music, makes girls swoon every time he smiles. During spring break, Tebow added a new facet to his fame. In ...

Billy Donovan, three days removed from leading Florida
to a second consecutive national championship, will remain the
Gators' coach and not make himself available to interview for the opening at SEC rival Kentucky. Donovan told Kentucky athletics ...
Just the other day, I noticed that Larry
Brown Sports [ link ] had ranked the Cincinnati
Bengals arrests from best to worst. I thought that it was criminal that the NFL s most prolific criminal enterprise get all of the headlines. I believed that the ...
What makes a good rivalry? A long history
of balanced, competitive games? Sure, but really, what makes
a rivalry? Good ol' hate. For a rivalry to work, both teams must hate each other to the bitter end. It's not just about winning a football game. It's about much more than that. Every play until that final whistle blows, you are worried about just one thing. Putting the guy across from you on...
BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AT GLENDALE AZ
A few weeks ago Florida head coach Urban
Meyer was speaking to a group of Gator boosters
in Miami when a recent off the field incident involving Jamar Hornsby was brought up.
The Gators knocked off the Bruins to set
up a rematch of football's national championship game with
Ohio State on Monday.
Billy Donovan and the Magic entered talks on
Monday to terminate the contract that he signed on
Friday, but the NBA might have a say in resolving the matter as well, ESPN.com has learned. Multiple sources said that Donovan is being asked to refrain ...
