Fresno State’s Kris Tomlinson decided that a simple
mullet wasn’t going to “cut it” (sorry) for Game
1 of the College World Series against Georgia. Instead, Tomlinson elected to go with the not-so-common version of the ...
It's good to see Stacy Johnson-Klein in the
news again. Last we checked, the fabulous-looking former Fresno
State women's basketball coach just won a settlement in her sexual harrassment lawsuit against the school. Now Stacy's found employment once again - as the new GM of a minor league basketball team in Oklahoma. Can't wait to see her photo spread in the team's media guide!
The Going Yard crew joins Fresno State in
their pursuit of the ugliest hair on the planet.
When I wrote the preview for the Humanitarian
Bowl I said that if Fresno State was going
to beat Georgia Tech they would need to run and run and then run some more. Well, the Bulldogs did just that and then some. The way that Fresno State controlled the game was the reason that the final score turned out to be 40 to 28 for them.
Yesterday, we linked up Friends of the Program’s
excellent piece of observational journalism about Fresno State’s Kris
Tomlinson and his Skullet. For those who don’t know, a Skullet is, as you may have guessed, a cousin of the ...
A tough break for fans of ESPN's Erin

The NJ.com's Rutgers Football blog posted an item
this past Thursday when they learned that Erin Andrews

Today’s second bowl game of the day, the
Humanitarian Bowl, features Fresno State (8-4) against Ga Tech
(7-5) but this game might not be only about showing the talent of the players. Georgia Tech has a new head coach, Paul Johnson from Navy, but in this game it will be headed by Jon Tenuta. After being in the business for a while Tenuta might be looking forward to a chance at calling the shots.
Why is she the perfect wife? 1) She
knows hoops (former women's hoops coach at Fresno State.
2) She is loaded. 3) She is a babe.

It's the equivalent of a No. 13 seed
winning March Madness. Fresno State's RPI, if translated, would
be in the high 80s, giving it a mid-seed in the NIT. And now the Bulldogs are national champions. Of course college baseball doesn't get the same ...
You’ve heard all the baseball-to-basketball analogies for this
Fresno State team (“this is like Blue Ridge Community
College winning the Final Four!”, etc.), but what they pulled off last night -- beating No. 8 Georgia in Game 3 ...

In a day of scheduling maneuvers, not much
was made of Kansas State's decision to back out
of a game against Fresno State. At least not much was made of it in Kansas. But in Fresno, well, that's a different story. They are getting quite the laugh ...
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Brett Wallace's pregame antics and
his bat gave Arizona State a short-term lift, but
in the end, Fresno State outlasted the heavily favored Sun Devils 12-9 and advanced to the College World Series.
While the UNC men's basketball team (and its
fan base) are still rejoicing, the Heels baseball team
that is playing right now is not. Second seed North Carolina (52-13) had a bad game yesterday against Fresno State (44-29) and lost 5-3.
