ATLANTA (AP) -- Les Miles will remain LSU's football coach rather than bolt to Michigan. LSU athletic director Skip Bertman said Miles told the team he would stay at the school just hours before the No. 5 Tigers played No. 14 Tennessee in the Southeastern Conference championship game Saturday.

Remembering Pete Maravich
Hard to believe that "Pistol" Pete Maravich has been dead for 20 years. He suffered a heart attack 20 years ago today while warming up for a pickup basketball game. At LSU, he averaged 44.2 points a game over his three-year career and was an NBA All-Star, averaging 24.2 points a game. He retired in 1980 after a leg injury made it impossible for him to play at his desired level.
