Anybody else watch USC and Oregon defenses before they played? > Rankman cleaned house with the extra time he had this week not having to move USC below Oregon in his rankings order. Anyone else already have Oregon ahead? Nothing personal, Trojans, but we had seen both defenses play. We originally ruled on the field that Iowa's knee was down at No. 12, but the Big Ten replay crew overturned it and placed the team inside the 10. And, remember kids, have an ophthalmologist picked out in advance before jumping into a pile with Florida's Brandon Spikes.

Earlier this week, when Florida linebacker Brandon Spikes was getting gouged by the court of public opinion for his dirty play in the Georgia game, Florida QB Tim Tebow defended Spikes—an odd moment for Mr. Clean in such an obvious situation of guilt. But when Tebow said earlier this week that Florida didn't do "anything in that game that (Georgia) didn't do," he wasn't kidding. Florida coach Urban Meyer said on Wednesday's SEC teleconference that he sent tape into the SEC office showing a late hit Tebow sustained against Georgia. The video is just as brutal, perhaps more, as Spikes' fingers in the facemask of Georgia tailback Washaun Ealey. Meyer said "that should've been a penalty, in my opinion." Every stadium can claim to be the most hostile venue in college football- don't we all want to be the 12th man? Make opposing quarterbacks shake and look like a deer in headlights? Watch wide receivers cup their hands to their ears in confusion as they try to hear the quarterback's call signals? Watch a coach burn a timeout due to the play not getting sent in on time? Yep, all stadiums get loud and distracting during rivalry games or games of high importance, but do they stay that way when the team is down? Some stadiums get awfully quiet when the home team isn't up to snuff. These ten stadiums harbor the loudest, most fearsome fans in the country every week, and their stadium showcases them.
