Two days after flirting with the Michigan job,
Rutgers coach Greg Schiano has decided he will stay
in New Jersey. Jason Baum, Rutgers' assistant athletic director for football media and public relations, said the school would release a formal announcement later on Friday.
People have tried, from an opponent, heck an
archrival, like Gerald Henderson last year, now a cameraman
with the help of a Rutgers player, to take down Tyler Hansbrough during a college basketball game.

Now that everyone on the planet has responded
to Don Imus' controversial comments about the Rutgers womens
basketball team, I know you've been thinking one thing. "Man, I sure wish someone would make a pornographic video about the whole thing!"
The play came late in the game, when
Rutgers expanded its lead over Navy to a comfortable
level after a tight three quarters. Navy's Reggie Campbell took the kickoff and ran full speed ahead up the middle with all the force his 168-pound body could ...
Right after the game finished between number one
ranked North Carolina (9-0) and Rutgers (7-4), where the
Heels beat the Knights 93-71, my first thought was to get on the computer and bash the refs, the bad calls, the hard fouls by Rutgers and anything/everything else I could.
A secret society of the eight wealthiest mascots
in the Northeast convenes at an estate in Providence,
RI, otherwise known as Mike Tranghese’s basement. Chips and mango-peach salsa are served. They control the Northeastern bank money supplies, Fort Dix, ESPN and the Weslyan College student newspaper. They are known as The Octonion.
The state of New Jersey is sick and
tired of people asking - "where's Rutgers?" - so
the state legislature has taken the steps to finally do something about it. They passed a resolution to put "NJ" on the Scarlet R logo. That will do it!!
When it rains, it pours, all without Pacman
Jones. Michael Vick now has bigger things to worry
about than his federal indictment for dog fighting charges, although the two are related. In a story on FoxNews, Vick is being sued for 63 billion dollars. The complaint goes on to allege that Vick sold the dogs on eBay and “used the proceeds to purchase missiles from the Iran government.” The ...
It is exactly what it sounds like.
by WCT , Wasting Company Time It is
week 6 already. Isn't that scary? Most of D-1A
will be halfway done with their regular seasons after this Saturday. It seems like just yesterday we were hooting at the procession of red-faced Michigan fans as they left the Upper East Side sports bar I was at on the afternoon of September 1st. Now we're at the halfway point. Sad really. But the good news ...
I look forward to the day when no
Saturday Morning Hate Sex post will be necessary. When
every Lady’s team finds themselves on the shiny happy end of the scoreboard, and no one’s star quarterback weeps.
The most notable attire of the weekend was
worn by the Rutgers University football team on Saturday
afternoon. The Scarlett Knights wore all black uniforms with their red helmets for the first time in school history. If the outcome is any indication, they might not ever wear those getups again any time soon. Rutgers got absolutely demolished by a far superior West Virginia team that ran for ...
When North Carolina faces Rutgers tonight, one team
will lose their perfect record. UNC, number one in
the nation at 8-0, has a perfect 6-0 record on the road. Rutgers, unranked and 7-3 overall, is 6-0 at home. When this game ends one of the two teams will have lost their “spotless” 6-0 record. From what I can gather, it will most likely be the Scarlet Knights.
After losing a game they should have won
against Western Kentucky, it was nice to see Nebraska
take care of business Sunday. Defense has not been a problem for the Cornhuskers this season, but consistency on offense, and on the boards has been lacking, and against a Rutgers team with good size on their roster, it was imperative NU hang with the Scarlet Knights in rebounds...
Rutgers got screwed big time.
According the spies at the NY Post, Don
Imus will be returning to WFAN to host his
old radio show. The spy says "I'm not supposed to say, but . . . if he was to be coming back, I would look to September." When asked if he means Sirius, the spy says.. "Broadcast." Another source claimed that Imus is scouting comedy clubs to find a black sidekick, so it would take the burn out of any future ...
Many believe that the Rev. Al Sharpton and
all the support and outcry were responsible for the
firing of Don Imus for his racially charged quotes. They were, in a way, he certainly wasn't fired for what he said. Don Imus was fired due to bigger companies, his corporate sponsors pulling ads from nationally syndicated radio show, the heart of how he makes money. They did this in order to hide...
You take your kid to the Navy-Rutgers game
on Friday night and when things get out of
