It's Thanksgiving weekend, and there are plenty of great slate games on the schedule to be thankful for. After having my worst week of the season in Week 11, I responded with my best week of the season in Week 12. Arguably my worst pick was having Utah barely escape San Diego State, but it turned out to be a landslide. Thanksgiving Week is also Rivalry Week, so there's always a great chance of a top tier team going down with big rivalry match-ups. ESPN's 24-hour Tip Off Marathon starts at Midnight Tuesday (Monday night). It's exciting, but the amount of exciting games isn't over the top. For a college hoops junkie, it's like the fix you've been waiting for. Here is a link to the schedule over at the Worldwide Leader. Midnight (ESPN and ESPN360.com) Cal State Fullerton vs. UCLA Most years this one would be a yawner. Sleep through it and watch the highlights. This year, maybe not so much. No doubt UCLA is far more talented that Cal State Fullerton on paper, but UCLA is young and inexperienced. They don't return a double digit scorer. They are looking for leadership. With a flurry of points in the fourth quarter the Wyoming Cowboys overcame a 27-6 deficit defeating San Diego State 30-27, earning their first victory on the road against the Aztecs since 1995. Wyoming is now 5-5 for the year and has two games left this season (at home vs. TCU, on the road vs. CSU) to attain one more victory to become bowl eligible. UNLV fires coach Sanford (AP)

UNLV has fired football coach Mike Sanford after five losing seasons, a 15-43 record and no bowl appearances.
