After six consecutive weeks in the top five,
USC dropped thirteen spots in this week's poll following
its loss to Stanford. That was the largest change in rank for Week 6, but just barely - one week after climbing eight places to #5, Kentucky fell all the way to #17 after a sloppy loss to South Carolina.

Three consecutive wins against PAC 10 opponents now
moves San Diego State up to number 18 in
the Soccer America national poll. Sunday, they defeated Stanford 2-0, after in the previous week beating both UCLA and Cal State. All were ranked higher than SDSU at the time. Aztecs are now on an 8-match unbeaten streak (7-2-2 overall).
