After a small time off from talking to
“Da Beat of N.Y.” I reached out to him
this week to get some information for my Syracuse fan base. From the hiring of the new offensive coordinator Mitch Browning to some internet (blogger) reports about the basketball team “Da Beat of N.Y.” does not hold back on anything/everything.

With Devendorf out for the season due to
an injury, with Josh Wright gone from the team
because of academic/personal problems, with such a young team for Hall of Fame head coach Jim Boeheim, the same old question has come back once again to taunt the Orange nation. Man to man or the famous 2-3 zone?
This is our first year providing the NCAA
Football Marketwatch, and we bounced back with a winning
week after a pair of disappointing efforts. Saturday’s noon games got us off to a 2-0 start with Syracuse holding on late to finish within 15 points over Pittsburgh.
How bad of a situation is the Syracuse
Men’s Basketball team in? To say it in a
way that most people understand, it’s pretty bad. Right now this team only has six players that can truly contribute anything to it.
Last week, the chief was present as Coaches
vs. Cancer was on Capitol Hill. Here's a shot
of 'Cuse's Jim Boeheim, UConn's Jim Calhoun, Alabama's Mark Gottfried, US Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland, Maryland's Gary Williams and Temple's Fran Dunphy.
One of the longest series renews itself tonight
for the 160th time as Syracuse (7-3) plays host
to Colgate (6-3) at the Carrier Dome tonight at 7:00 PM EST.

Last nights game between Syracuse (7-3) and East

the Orange dominating in every way possible, the final tally being 125-75.

By Matt Gelb , Syracuse Ernie Davis died

Last nights game brought some good news to
the Syracuse Orange. The first is that they won,
beating Colgate 87-59 and bringing their record to 8 and 3. They played well against a much weaker team and they did what they needed to do in order to win (I will go over my keys a bit later).
Syracuse athletic director Dr. Daryl Gross said Monday
that the Orange football team has yet to show
the "obvious progress" necessary for Greg Robinson to remain as football coach beyond this season.
Head basketbal coach at Syracuse, Jim Boeheim, talks
about the current team, 2007-2008 season and his Hall
Of Fame career.
Senior defensive end Jameel McClain and sophomore wide

MVP Award winners.
Last game it was Colgate that came in
with 45 years and no wins against the Orange
(8-3), this time it is Cornell (6-4) that comes into the Carrier Dome tonight at 7 PM EST with 29 years and no wins. Somehow, I just have that feeling that just like their predecessors the Big Red will be waiting another year to see if they beat Syracuse.
"I didn't play hard." "I didn't come to
play today." Context is so important sometimes. If Terrell
Owens said the above statements he would be grilled mercilessly on talk radio for a week. If Brett Favre said them, he'd be hailed as a true warrior, unashamed to admit his own faults. For Paul Harris, you have to realize the context of why he said what he said. It's probably best to look at ...

As the Syracuse Women's Soccer team begins its
