ATLANTA (AP) -- Les Miles will remain LSU's
football coach rather than bolt to Michigan. LSU athletic
director Skip Bertman said Miles told the team he would stay at the school just hours before the No. 5 Tigers played No. 14 Tennessee in the Southeastern Conference championship game Saturday.

The Elk Valley Times is reporting on a
very interesting development. Lincoln County inmates in Tennessee have
to wear pink instead of orange . The inmates can all blame Nathan Childress. This bright young gentleman escaped from his guards and ran up the street and just blended in. No one called the police.

This week's Florida-Tennessee contest got a lot more
interesting when Gators linebacker Brandon Spikes made several disparaging
remarks regarding the Vols. Spikes went as far to say the Volunteers were "quitters" and just gave up last season during Florida's 59-20 beat down of the Vols.
After another embarrassing loss to the Florida Gators
Saturday afternoon in Knoxville, former Tennessee head coach General
Robert Neyland is probably rolling in his grave. Losing to the 4th ranked team in the nation isn't the issue - it's how the Vols lost the game.

Via VOL NATION , WBIR-TV in Knoxville checks

In what some may call a roller coaster
season, Tennessee’s Phil Fulmer comes close to the end
of the 2007 season with a contract extension.
The Vol's senior guard Jordan Howell can play
the piano and sing...and is feeling sexy enough to
tackle the mighty Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" like only a white kid from Alabama doing what sounds like a cover of Ben Folds Five covering Marvin Gaye can. He's even done a favor for us and stuck it up on Youtube for us all to watch and enjoy cringe.

OK, I know it's early and they've yet

former Tennessee Vols offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe has the Duke Blue Devils off to a 3-1 start.
If Phil Fulmer really loved the University of

the millions of dollars it would have to spend to buy out his contract and hire a new coach?
