Seriously, can you blame Jason Kidd? Yes. You
can. Why? Because He went to Cal.
Five star basketball recruit J'mison Morgan has submitted
a request for a release from his commitment to
LSU, the Dallas Morning News reported. Morgan, a South Oak Cliff HS senior, had signed a national letter of intent with LSU last November; ...
Jill Painter of Inside UCLA has done some
fine work in Brian Dohn’s stead. She talked to
Ronnie Morgan, J’Mison’s brother, and he said Morgan is “planning for sure to attend UCLA next year.” Painter also reported that J’Mison was told that LSU would indeed grant the release:
UCLA walk-on tailback Craig Sheppard had reconstructive surgery
last week to repair the AC joint in his
left shoulder, the school announced Tuesday. Sheppard will be out an estimated four to six months. Sheppard said he separated his shoulder before ...
Found this through Google’s news wire, citing that
UCLA is the leader for J’Mison Morgan : UCLA
will be strongly considered once Morgan is released from his National Letter of Intent due to the departure of freshman sensation Kevin Love. UCLA has a top-five recruiting class without Morgan, but with him, the Bruins may be able to return to the Final Four. Things are getting ...
I like to give "life at UCLA" updates
here at Cohn vs. Cohn, so you, the readers
and faithful fans, can get a sense of how I live down here. Today, I got a story to tell. Thursday night my fraternity, Sigma Nu, threw its quarterly house party. Andrew ...
Bumped. GO BRUINS. -N The women of UCLA
Softball have taken care of business since losing 2
of 3 in Arizona two weeks ago, beginning the second half of conference play by completing sweeps of #22 Washington, #21 Cal, and #7 Stanford. Things got started in Seattle, where the Bruins braved 40 degree temperatures and multiple rain delays to finish their 3-game series against Washington. ...
Gametime: Q+A --- The Jimmy Leg ---
By John Bolster --- Jimmy Conrad makes an ideal
ambassador for Major League Soccer on multiple levels: He’s funny, he’s media savvy, and he’s been with the league for all but three of its 13 years. Beyond that, Conrad is emblematic of MLS – like the league, he started out underappreciated and ...

We’ve heard all about the legendary Arizona State
University party scene. Smoking hot chicks, pool parties, more

A few weeks ago, I had given a
Pac-10 QB Battle Update, highlighting that Patrick Cowan had
won the long-standing QB Battle over Ben Olsen for the starting position. Well it appears the Patrick Cowan can’t catch a break.
The UCLA Bruins played their spring game this
weekend. The Bruins have for the moment lost both
of their top QB's due to injuries. The Tennessee Vols had three players selected in this past weekend's NFL Draft.
Asked if he expected the worst for Cowan,
Chow said: "Oh, yeah….The way he went down. We've
got to wait it out. I'm just telling you my opinion." On back-to-back plays, wearing helmets, shoulder pads and shorts, in the next-to-last practice of an injury-free spring, Cowan and fellow senior Ben Olson suffered non-contact injuries. Cowan injured his ACL and meniscus.
UCLA is hurt already with injuries.
There seems to be lot of disenchantment and
bitterness towards the "one and done" rule (and 18-19
year old incredibly talented/athletically gifted kids who are operating through it) in the world of college basketball these days. Lot of people are ...
Junior Darren Collison has decided to remain at
UCLA for his senior season, he announced during a
teleconference this afternoon. The UCLA point-guard averaged 14.5 points and 3.8 assists while shooting 48.1% from the field including 52.5% from beyond ...
