With most of the teams in the Big Ten having completed their regular seasons, save Wisconsin's trip to the tropical paradise, the Big Ten will announce their annual All-Big Ten football award at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 23.

The Bleacher Report All-Big Ten Defense list has already been constructed, so now it's time to compile the All-Big Ten Offense.

While you won't find many Big Ten teams or players in the top offensive statistics this year in college football, it wasn't for lack of quality talent. Rather, it might have something to do with the outstanding defenses in the conference this year.

So, without further ado, here is the All-Big Ten Offense... Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald went on the offensive Saturday after his team's stirring victory over Wisconsin.

Going Bowlin': Where Are the Badgers Headed?

With the Big Ten season ending on Saturday, most teams are looking ahead to possible bowl match-ups.
Wisconsin still has to travel to Hawaii in two weeks, but they too can start to scout for their bowl game because their game against the Warriors shouldn't make a difference in what invitation they receive.
With their loss to Northwestern on Saturday, Hawaii is pretty much a meaningless game.
If they had beaten Northwestern, they would have had the opportunity to go for 10 wins and an outside shot at a BCS bowl, but that all went down the drain Saturday afternoon in Evanston.
A pathetic defense and costly mistakes ended any hopes of that.
After that game, my outlook on the Badgers is pretty gloomy. Their defense hasn't improved all year and although their offense is effective, it seems as though they sputter in clutch situations.
However, at 8-3 they still have a chance to get a good bowl game, and a win against Hawaii would definitely help their confidence going into bowl season.

Big 10
Conference Leader: Ohio State (10-2, 7-1) have clinched the Big 10 regular season title and will head to the Rose Bowl.
Game of Last Week: Northwestern 33, Wisconsin 31. An upset of the Badgers likely allows the Wildcats a chance at a New Year's Day or Eve bowl.
Game of Next Week: The Big 10 regular season is completed.
Bowl Eligible Teams: Iowa Hawkeyes, Penn State Nittany Lions, Ohio State Buckeyes. Wisconsin Badgers, Northwestern Wildcats, Michigan State Spartans, Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Big 12
Conference Leaders: Nebraska (North Division; 8-3, 5-2) and Texas (South Division; 11-0, 7-0) have both clinched their respective division titles and will meet for the Big 12 Championship Game on Dec. 5.
Game of Last Week: Nebraska 17, Kansas State 3. Jockeying for the Big 12 North title all season, these two teams met to finally decide the victor.
In convincing fashion, the stingy Cornhusker defense kept the Wildcats at bay and clinched a trip to the Big 12 Title ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Football, Pittsburgh Panthers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Wisconsin Badgers, Oklahoma State Cowboys

The Wisconsin Badgers have a long and storied history of football success. The first Badger football team took the field in 1889 and currently they have an all-time record of 612-464-53. They've won 11 Big Ten titles, 3 Rose Bowls, and have 2 Heisman Trophy winners. I know I'm excluding some good teams, but my list only includes teams from 1945 onward because I wasn't able to find team information from before then.
Big Ten Picks and Predictions Week 12

Well, this is it folks, the last week of the Big Ten Football season. It just seemed like a few weeks ago we started the 2009 season and now it's over before Thanksgiving. The big hopes we had of a Michigan turnaround, Illinois re-gaining it's form, MSU playing Big Ten spoiler and Penn State dominance didn't really come to pass.
Ohio State again is the Big Ten Champion with steady play and a dominating defense. Iowa stepped up for awhile but we all sort of knew it wouldn't last. The good thing is the Big Ten won't be in the National Championship game this year. The good news is The Big Ten probably has the best basketball conference this year. Sorry ACC it's true! Now on to the Picks...
The Big Ten Game of the Week (will be previewed on Friday) Minnesota at Iowa : Iowa played very well last week in the Shoe but came up a couple of plays short it overtime. Minnesota is a team that plays well at home put not so good on the road.
Iowa is a little mad since they were on ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Football, Penn State Nittany Lions, Wisconsin Badgers, Michigan Wolverines

It was the final tuneup before the Badgers (2-0) head to the Maui Invitational next week, starting with a game Monday against Arizona. The Golden Grizzlies were the preseason favorite to win the Summit League, but they dropped to 0-2 largely because they have yet to find their shooting touch.

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Basketball, Wisconsin Badgers, Trevon Hughes

Wisconsin-Northwestern: Badgers Are In for a Fight

If recent history is any indicator, Wisconsin better be prepared when they take on Northwestern Saturday afternoon.
It's been two years since the Badgers and Wildcats last played and I'm sure there are no complaints from either Wisconsin players or fans.
Northwestern has traditionally been one of the weaker teams in the Big Ten, but if there is any team that gives the Badgers more headaches in a "should-win" game, I'd like to hear it.
The last time Wisconsin played Northwestern, they trounced them 41-9 en route to a 12-1 record.
However, their meetings before that weren't so lopsided.
In 2005, after starting out the season 5-0, Wisconsin marched into Ryan Field brimming with confidence and expecting a sixth win in a row.
Final score: Northwestern 51, Wisconsin 48.
In fact, since their last Rose Bowl win in the 1999-2000 season, Wisconsin is only 3-3 against Northwestern.
Their record against the rest of the Big Ten? 47-35.
This year should prove no different. Sure, Wisconsin is 8-2, ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Football, Wisconsin Badgers, Northwestern Wildcats

Wisconsin Badgers at Northwestern WIldcats: A Badger's Take

The last time Wisconsin beat Northwestern in Evanston, it was 1999.
They will try to do it for the first time this decade this coming Saturday.
After an abysmal 7-6 season in 2008, the Wisconsin Badgers have stormed back behind the rushing of John Clay and a revamped, better than expected defense.
This Saturday will decide the Big Ten conference Champion.
With a victory against the Northwestern Wildcats (likely), and an Ohio State loss to Michigan (not likely), the Badgers would be in a three way tie for first place in the conference.
Sophomore tailback John Clay has been the catalyst for the Badgers' resurgence. Clay has averaged 5.2 yards per carry while amassing 1124 yards and reaching the end zone 12 times.
Another point of interest for the Badgers this year is the balanced offense. Most years, the Badgers have not been much of a threat to pass the ball, but this season, behind quarterback Scott Tolzien, who ranks 34th nationally in passing efficiency, the Badgers have scored early, ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Football, Wisconsin Badgers, Northwestern Wildcats

Eight new things in college football that you can take to the bank

USC won't make the BCS. SMU is good, and Temple is better. The national title game should include two unbeaten teams.
A lackluster Big East record shows that Jim Leavitt's teams aren't built to last a full season.
All sorts of alleged guarantees in college football have failed to come through in 2009. But a few new rules have developed. Here's a peek at a handful:
Rule 1: USF tanks down the stretch
Again, the Bulls took an undefeated into October and looked like a Big East title contender. Again, they've tumbled in conference play, capped by a 31-0 tail-kicking against Rutgers on Thursday. Coach Jim Leavitt's program is 16-17 in conference play since joining the league and only once has finished as close as a game out of first place.
Rule 2: Rich Rodriguez vs. the fans
He almost took the Alabama job. Then he did bail, to Michigan, sparking lawsuits and nasty he said-he said. Then he coached UM to its worst season in decades. Now, he's sitting on a six-game Big Ten losing ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Football, South Florida Bulls, Michigan Wolverines, Oklahoma Sooners, Oregon State Beavers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Wisconsin Badgers

Big Ten Football '09: Week 12 Preview

The Big Ten can make the case for being the most exciting conference in college football.
Every team in the conference still had the potential to be bowl eligible going into last week's games.
Ohio State and Iowa lived up to it's billing as "the Clash of the Titans," being decided on a field goal in overtime. As long as Ohio State wins out, they've clinched a trip to the Rose Bowl.
Penn State and Wisconsin continued to roll, and Indiana, Purdue and Michigan were knocked from bowl contention.
This week several teams are jockeying for bowl position, rather than eligibility.

  Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-5), (3-4) @ No. 13 Iowa Hawkeyes (9-2), (5-2) 12:00 ESPN
The Gophers should not even be bowl eligible. I don't think a win over a team named the Jackrabbits should qualify, but I don't have a say in the matter.
Iowa will have a hard time getting up for this game, and it will be closer than expected.
  Gophers 20, Hawkeyes 24

  No. 10 Ohio State Buckeyes (9-2), (6-1) @ Michigan ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Football, Ohio State Buckeyes, Wisconsin Badgers, Iowa Hawkeyes, Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions
