Gary Williams has been juggling the minutes of
6 freshmen, so much so that many people haven't
seen them all play. An individual breakdown of each Terp freshman, how he's been playing and a general outlook on their abilities.
Maryland takes back their house and beats Delaware.
They also exposed their weaknesses on national television in
a loss to OSU in the Emerald Bowl. Eh, a so-so day overall for Maryland athletics.
YES!!! How do you spell win? "UNC" it
is! And I LOVED all the Tarheel crying after
the loss. That was the cherry on top of it all.
It's what all Maryland fans have been waiting
for - James Gist has escalated his game to
"force of nature" level. In a dominating 73-48 win over Holy Cross, Gist showed us what he can really do.
I feel like Jim Mora today after hearing
about Maryland's one-point loss to Virginia Tech. Postseason hopes
are already shot. However, if you're a real fan, you'll stick it out. Here's why.
The current look. (Toni Sandys - TWP) After
his record-tying assists night in Maryland's win on Saturday--a
win that has the Terps steaming their way toward the Top 25 (two votes this week!) and making American look better and better--lots of folks ...
An addendum to "The Freshman Review" with observations
on the Savannah State game. Plus, it appears Jerome
Burney is not transferring, but why you shouldn't be surprised if someone on the Terps does.
MARYLAND BEATS TOP-RANKED UNC!!!
Maryland beats UVA, 85-75. Great win for ESPN.
The story on what went down tonight. Also, Maryland
football picks up another big recruit this week.
Maryland beats Georgia Tech when Matt Causey blows
the game... by making a free throw? Get the
story here.
I was just planning my 2nd round NIT
party tonight and was thinking about Syracuse's matchup tomorrow
night at the Big white Dome on the Hill. Greivis Vasquez had 16 points and six rebounds rocking the Gopher faithful and made sure Maryland didn't lose another big lead in a 68-58 victory over Minnesota on Tuesday night in the first round of the NIT. We have never been Maryland fans, nor ...
Maryland has been losing a lot lately. Today,
during the American game, INRCP figured out the blueprint
to beat the team. Delaware, Savannah State and Holy Cross should read this ... or don't because you'll probably win anyway. The Terps are just that bad this year.
Greivis Vasquez surely wins the "Hamburger Helper" boxscore
stuffer award tonight (22pts, 6 boards, 8 assists, 2
steals), but it was Adrian Bowie who was the real difference maker. Nothing that says "WOW!" in his stats, but the power of his performance was the spark he provided in the second half.
Yes, that was the longest post title ever,
but if anyone earned it tonight, it was Terp
frosh Adrian Bowie. He helped Maryland beat the Demon Deacons tonight, 71-64. It was one of those moments where the freshman, having played a few games and not really done all that much, all of a sudden flickered on and thought, "Hey, I kinda get how this game works! Now I'm going to pwn Wake Forest."

Despite the loss to Duke, Maryland seniors James
Gist and Bambale Osby are really starting to show
what they're capable of. The story on how the front court starters are doing it up real big.
James Gist scored a career high 30 points,
and Greivis Vasquez was just 1 rebound shy of
a triple double during this evening's 84-70 Maryland win over the visiting NC State Wolfpack at the Comcast Center.
After a complete performance against NC State, the
Terps answered some questions about their players and are
edging closer to earning an NCAA tournament berth.

you Terps fans out there. Greivis Vasquez headlined Andy
Katz's Weekly Watch after an outstanding week. The Terps as a team were also #2 on the teams to watch outside the top 25 list. Joe Lunardi has the ...
