Okay, I will admit it. I was one
of the naysayers who didn’t think UConn had a

The first thing you need to know is
that next year's draft won't be as good at
the top (or as deep) as this year's draft, mostly because this year's incoming freshmen stink as a whole when compared to their immediate predecessors. Put another way, there is no incoming freshman as promising as Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley or O.J. Mayo, or at least it seems that way.

Syracuse fell to UConn last night 63-61 and
chances are if you read this blog you already
knew that. Syracuse was done in by 7'3" Hasheem Thabeet and his shot blocking prowess, combined with a newly installed zone that gave the Orange a taste of their own medicine.

#19 UConn got huge games from their bigs,
Hasheem Thabeet and Jeff Adrien, as they overcame a
first half deficit to beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 80-68 in front of a national television audience and sold out crowd at Gampel Pavilion. The win was the seventh straight for the Huskies and their sixth win since Jerome Dyson was suspended.
