APOLOGIES AFTER DAY ONE IN VEGAS

My blog flat-out sucked today. I had the best of
intentions to blog my you-know-what off, but here’s what happened. I brought my
computer into the first game, put it down on the floor while watching a game
and then didn’t realize I forgot it until I was in the car en route to another
gym.

So, anyway, here’s some stuff after catching nine games from Day One in Vegas:

Today I interviewed George Mason head basketball coach Jim Larranaga by phone. Here you can see my amateur, 14-year-old interview skills but I think I did a decent job for a regular high school student interviewing a big time college coach. I should have cut out the first part when he answered the phone, but oh well. (By the way, if your wondering, I called him earlier and he was watching game ...

The Big Lead found this 2 days ago on fyisf.blogspot.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Basketball, Jim Larranaga

C&F is going to do his best to get through most or all of the "Gamecocks 2008" previews so he can start on the opponent previews over the weekend. That includes a look at the wide receivers/tight ends and a couple of defensive previews. Might take a look at special teams, too, but that would be brief.

As we all know, Alex Stepheson asked to transfer after the spring semester, stating that it was because of his father's health. While some think it is because of playing time, I'm going to believe the young man and say that he did it for family reasons. From what I have read around the Internet it seems that Stepheson will become a USC Trojan as of this fall.

AEM posted 4 days ago from unc5corners.blogspot.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NCAA Basketball, Southern California Trojans, Roy Williams, Tim Floyd, North Carolina Tar Heels
