And finally we have arrived, the reason why
I think that Ty Lawson should come back once
more to Chapel Hill.
As the basketball season looms less than three
weeks from today, I am going to begin to
look at the whole Atlantic Coast Conference, thanks to the 40 media members, who voted on several rankings at the annual Basketball Media Day.
North Carolina, the number three team in the
nation (21-1, 6-1 ACC), went down south and met
a tough opponent in Florida State (13-10, 2-6 ACC). When the final buzzer sounded UNC beat them 84-73, even through adversity. And not just any type of adversity mind you, they beat the Seminoles without their point guard Ty Lawson. What is even worse is that they are also going to have to face #2 Duke.

After a great job in day two of
the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp for Ty Lawson, the third
day didn't go well at all.
I know I missed reason #7 yesterday, but
it was for a reason. It is because reasons
#6 and #7 go hand in hand. They are about the Atlantic Coast Conference, they are about the two trophies that the trio of Lawson, Ellington and Green have brought home twice in a row and could do it one more time next season.
The Tar Heels trio of Ty Lawson, Wayne
Ellington and Danny Green are all headed back to
Chapel Hill, according to multiple sources close to the situation. "They are all going back to school," one source said. "None of them were 100 percent sure they ...
With Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and
Danny Green, UNC is the early favorite to win
it all. Here's the early 2008-09 Top 25, writes Andy Katz.
I guess I am learning what one of
the big differences between a blogger and the media
is. Or should I say, I guess I am learning what is one of the difference between me as a blogger and most of the media out there. What is it you might ask, the answer is simple, I try to enjoy the moment.
So why do I believe that North Carolina
can win it all? I could say because of
Tyler Hansbrough, but that would be obvious and the reason that most people would give. I do believe that the junior forward will play a big part if the Heels were to win it all, but I'm not going to hold that up as the biggest reason. I could also say Ty Lawson, the point guard with the speed that few have, but that wo
I have to say that the short sentence
that I hate and love to hear the most
while talking to someone is "what if?" When thinking about next season for the North Carolina Men's basketball team you have to wonder that, don't you?

Here is a small update for those of
you that are waiting to hear/see what will happen
to the threesome that is working out for the NBA scouts/teams. From what Danny Green's father said to the media his son has not yet received his invitation, but believes it will come this week.
Finally released and with a bit of tardiness
on my part here are the teams for the
next three days of scrimmages at the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp.
Just as I said that I think Ellington
needs to come back to Chapel Hill based on
his first game in Orlando, I have a definite thought on Lawson and his first game. If he plays this way for the rest of the camp and at the workouts he'll be in the NBA next year without a doubt.
