Despite the recruiting class nearly being full two
months ago, Bo Pelini and his staff have had
to almost start from scratch after Nebraska commits have been deserting the new regime at an alarming rate. Give Bo Pelini credit though, his staff isn’t quitting, and they are working hard to fill in the pieces with just over a month left until signing day.
At the end of last season, all Nebraska
fans could talk about was what a disgrace former
head coach Bill Callahan had made their program. New head coach Bo Pelini has changed all of that as over 80 thousand fans turned out to see Nebraska’s spring game. Many paid as much as $100 to see the game, as reported by The Associated Press : The crowd was the second largest for a spring game in ...
Bo Pelini’s recruiting class continued to shrink Friday
morning, as 3 star defensive end recruit Riley Reiff
announced that he was de-committing from Nebraska and was committing to the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Remember when Bo Pelini’s arrival was supposed to
heal Husker Nation? Remember when once the last vestiges
of Bill Callahan’s stain on this program and this state; Nebraska would get back to what it does best, being the best football program in the country? So what’s happened? Why is it that the storm clouds have actually gotten darker, and fans seem more divided than ever?

Did you hear? Turner Gill’s gonna be Nebraska
football’s next head coach! Nuh uh! I was told
by my mom’s boyfriend who hears a lot of stuff from the University of Nebraska, like INSIDE it, that Bo Pelini’s gonna get hired? Yeah well enough about this mishmash, you want to talk Gill versus Pelini? Let’s do this thing. Ring the bell.

Just a quick note, Bo Pelini is wasting
no time getting his staff put together. Holdovers from
Bill Callahan’s staff are few and far between, with the entire defensive group apparently given their walking papers. Not a huge surprise considering the defense’s performance this season. No replacements have been named, but Marvin Sanders and Bo’s brother Carl seem to be locks for positions.....
