Jim Tressel got the best of Lloyd Carr again, maybe for the last time. Tressel became the first Ohio State coach to beat Michigan six times in seven years, and the seventh-ranked Buckeyes' 14-3 victory Saturday over their archrival gave them consecutive outright Big Ten titles for the first time in a half-century. Chris Wells ran for a career-high 222 yards and two touchdowns and Vernon ...Like Clockwork

It appears that Michigan lost a little more than just the game against Ohio State. ESPN has learned that Michigan coach Lloyd Carr will hold a 10 a.m. press conference on Monday at which time he is expected to announce his retirement. Carr led many to believe he would retire after this season when he altered his contract last winter and made sure all of his assistants were given ...What's the Best Rivalry in Sports Right Now?

1- (7) Ohio State at (21) Michigan - I know it’s a rival game and they are close most of the time. Not this one. Close early but Buckeyes pull away at the end. The better team will win and win big. My lock! I like Ohio State -4. 2- FAU at (14) ...

The Doofus and his team has the Saturday off. But that's not going to stop us from checking in some college football action. Obviously Buckeyes-Wolverines is the main draw today. But among the games we should all be interested in tracking are Missouri ...
I don’t know what feels better. Ohio State beating Michigan again or watching Michigan lose yet another game to the Buckeyes. While last year’s game was one for the record books, this year’s game is about complete and total ...
In the stands it was brutally cold, rainy, and at times, snowy, and on the field, it was even worse, with the Michigan Wolverine defense giving the Wolverine offense every opportunity to defeat Ohio State, only to see the Wolverine offense struggle ...
The constant cold rain kept handcuffs on any possible aerial attack so Ohio State turned to Beanie Wells. Michigan was in the same predicament and they turned to Mike Hart...or tried to anyway. It sounds trivial but it came down to which team could ...
Ohio State threw the ball twice in the second half. Michigan knew the run was coming, they just couldn’t stop it. Perhaps the Big House should be renamed. How about Beanie’s house? 2 touchdowns and 220 yards rushing provided all the ...
Make no mistake, despite both teams being upset last week, there is no luster lost in tomorrow's Ohio State-Michigan showdown in Ann Arbour. Players from both squads have been itching to get after each other ever since the Buckeyes' wild 42-39 win...
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - In the heart of Big Ten country, there is no need to find ancillary story lines to make what is referred to as "The Game" relevant. Relevant ? Who dares refer to Michigan-Ohio State as relevant ? Ever since Bo Schembechler...
OHIO STATE at MICHIGAN Line: Ohio State by 4 1/2. Angle: They do not refer to this as the Big Game, just "The Game." But this weekend it's just another game, even if a Rose Bowl berth is at stake. There's no getting around the fact that when the...
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Shame to the vic tors. Shame to the fans who saw yesterday's 14-3 loss to Ohio State as an opportunity for a new era in Michigan football rather than the end of a great legacy. Lloyd Carr, the man Michigan fans celebrated in...
