Last summer Alabama head coach Nick Saban mentioned
that he would love to get Notre Dame on

Sunday was the 38th anniversary of the Kent
State shootings, where National Guardsmen opened fire on protesters
& killed four students. And Nick Saban was on campus the day of the shootings, as the current Alabama coach was a defensive end for the Golden Flashes' team. Seems strange that someone who experienced such a tragic event would later compare a football loss to 9/11 & World War II.
