Finally, justice for Art Monk. The NFL Hall
of Fame voters did the right thing and elected
the oft-overlooked Monk to the Hall, where there is already an exhibit in place for the Washington Redskins’ greatest wide receiver. So, why the delay? Redskins writer Anthony Brown says Jerry Rice is partly responsible.

Even if you aren't a Redskins fan, you
have to respect the careers of Art Monk, Darrell
Green and Russ Grimm. Having grown up in the area despising the franchise, I'll never deny that I am a huge fan of those players. It's a requirement of all children in the DC Metro area with childhood in the mid-80's through early 90's.
