When Pacman Jones gets into a car, he
has police looking to make as much trouble for
him as possible. When somebody like Giants running back Brandon Jacobs gets into a car, he can pretty much do whatever he wants.
In 2007, Giants defensive end Justin Tuck and

With several New York Giants either receiving or
demanding new contracts, it's caused quite a logjam for
the defending Super Bowl champions. But which players deserve these extensions? Plaxico Burress certainly does, says Giants 101. But how about Brandon Jacobs?
The New York Giants lost their top defensive
player, end Osi Umenyiora, and their new starting running
back, Brandon Jacobs, to knee injuries early in the opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
Sometimes it’s valuable to cross enemy lines to
discover their perception of the upcoming battle. What are
their predictions, their keys to the game? What is their confidence level? Who do they think needs to be targeted? To that end, I asked several of the columnists for MVN’s New York Giants’ site, Giants 101, to provide the readers of The Frozen Tundra with their opinions and prognostication
The Giants aren't thrilled that their fans are
bailing on them this week, selling out to Patriots
fans desperate to witness history. But they aren't surprised. "That's probably one of the reasons why we are better on the road than we are at home," ...
After last night's come-from-behind win against the Giants,
Hashmarks' Matt Mosley cornered Patriots safety Rodney Harrison to
ask him "how much time he and his teammates had spent talking about a 16-0 season." Shockingly, Harrison didn't take it well : "It's so disrespectful to talk about a perfect season when a team is waiting to kick your butt," he said.
The Super Bowl journeys of the 2007 Giants
and a team we’re very familiar with, the 1999
Titans, bear striking resemblances.
Ah, yes, summertime and the living is easy
... except when you're coaching for your job, which
a number of guys will be this season. Some of them may not make it to the finish line, and some may pull an Eric Mangini and make something out of ...
It wasn't exactly a great start for the
New York Football Giants tonight. Not only did they
lose the game, but Eli Manning, Osi Uminyouri, and most damaging Brandon Jacobs all went down with injuries. There's a good chance Jacobs injury ...
As up-and-coming Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is
getting his preseason workouts by doing push-ups in confined
quarters and running a tin cup over steel bars, the team is preparing to lock up (not in the Ahmad Bradshaw way) their current starter ...
Who will be the New York Giants third-down
back? The Giants might want you to believe that
there will be a competition between Brandon Jacobs and Reuben Droughns for the starting spot, but there won't be. Jacobs, the bruising third-year back from Auburn, will be the featured back. Droughns will be his backup. The real running back competition will be for the third back.

An old call out from ACSA.
It has been six days since Brandon Jacobs
nearly fumbled away the Giants' win in Philadelphia. It's
been five days since he has given his near-disastrous performance a second thought. "It was a 24-hour deal. I dealt with it," Jacobs said.
The Giants used a 52-yard completion from Eli
Manning to Plaxico Burress to score first against the
Patriots. Bradon Jacobs scored from seven yards out to put the Giants up 7-0. The TD marks the first time the Patriots have given up a TD in the red zone in nine possessions.
More big names than ever are going to
be looking for a paycheck in 2008. Terrell Owens,
Marion Barber, Steven Jackson, Lee Evans, Brandon Jacobs and Anquan Boldin could all put a hurting on in fantasy football this season.
When we talk about players as being RB1
or RB2 caliber, we are not trying to confuse
you. Okay. Okay. Well, maybe we are just a tiny bit, but that’s a small satisfaction of mine. I have to compensate for all the spammy emails I get from ...
So I mentioned last week the dynasty league
in which I am participating this year at the
Fantasy Football Cafe, and the draft has now moved past round 4. After the first two rounds I had my starting runningback positions locked up with Clinton Portis (1.07) and Reggie Bush (2.06). This being a PPR league and all I decided it would be best to address two-of-the-three starting wide receivers ...
