Braylon Edwards and Derek Anderson: Pro Bowl Bound?
Braylon Edwards and Derek Anderson: Pro Bowl Bound?
Don't look now, but the Cleveland Browns are 4-3 on the season. You know that things are pretty bad off when you win two games in a row and it's talked about as some sort of record. Two players that have had a profound impact on the recent successes of the Cleveland Browns thus far are a quarterback that limped into the role and a wide receiver who was known more for his outbursts than...

Positional Overview: Weak Receiver Class in 08
Mario Manningham improved each one of his three seasons with the Wolverines. I believe that he could have had his best season yet if he had stayed for his senior year. Instead, Manningham will take his act to the NFL. Though he’s probably not as good of a prospect as Braylon Edwards was, he is the best receiver in this weak class.

 Friday Flicks: Rescue Browns
Friday Flicks: Rescue Browns
Christian Bale is my favorite younger actor, so you know I had to spoof Rescue Dawn . If there’s one pro sports franchise — hell, one sports city — in dire need of being rescued it’s Cleveland . Since the Cavs and Indians have each won conference/league championships since the Browns , the Browns are the franchise which most needs rescuing. Really, the Browns are ...

Don't Expect to See Brady Quinn on Sunday
Don't Expect to See Brady Quinn on Sunday
It's not a completely outrageous notion: the Browns have one game left, a meaningless Week 17 affair at home against the 49ers. Why not give rookie Brady Quinn the start, or at the very least, significant playing time. What can it hurt? -- the Titans will decide Cleveland's fate on Sunday night, so the San Francisco game is nothing more than a glorified preseason game.
