Redskins cornerback Byron Westbrook said he is concerned for the career of his older brother Brian, the star running back for the Philadelphia Eagles who suffered his second concussion of the season Sunday. After suffering his second concussion in only three weeks, the Eagles are being very, very cautious with their star running back, Brian Westbrook. Reid has continuously said that Westbrook's health is their primary concern, and now he's proven it by ruling Westbrook out for Sunday's game. Even when healthy, Westbrook has not been very impressive this season and has lost some carries to the rookie LeSean McCoy and newcomer fullback Leonard Weaver. With only 381 total yards and two total touchdowns, Westbrook's production has been worse than it was even last season. The concussions and other knee/ankle problems, along with his age, have taken their toll and we may never see the old Westbrook again. Vindication, thy name is the waiver wire! Hopefully our advice was heeded last week and you added Ladell Betts or Jamaal Charles to your roster. Both guys finished the day with more than 100 yards rushing and one touchdown. Not too bad for a plug-and-play in my opinion. There was a myriad of injuries this past weekend , so no doubt people will be scrambling to lock up players on the waiver wire. Even if your team is out of the playoff hunt, scoop up some of these players and trade them off to benefit your team next year. Jason Snelling, RB, Atlanta Falcons With Turner going down to a reported high ankle sprain , Snelling took over and rushed for 61 yards and a score. He also added 32 yards receiving to his cause. Turner is getting an MRI done today, but more than likely he will be out for at least this upcoming week. Philadelphia Eagles' running back Brian Westbrook was active against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, but finished the game the same way he did the last game he played in: nursing a head injury on the sidelines . Westbrook sustained his second concussion in three weeks, which is now prompting speculation that he could miss several weeks, if not the remainder of the season. Andy Reid and Co. are sure to take extra-special precaution with Westbrook, both due to his age and position, as well as the distance between the two concussions. Fantasy Perspective: Westbrook was a bit of an inconsistent play and was dealing with other injuries on top of his latest concussion bout, but a second head injury in three weeks should be the icing on the cake.
