A Denver Bronco (EX-Detroit Lion) was arrested Monday
for his possible involvement in a weekend assault at
a home in the 8200 block of South Krameria Way. David Russell (Circus) Kircus, 27, was booked for investigation of second-assault Monday in connection with an incident that was reported Sunday at 4:27 a.m.

best) wide receiver who didn't catch a single preseason pass, that might not even seem like it's worth mentioning. But Kircus is worth mentioning because in an off-season when the big story of the NFL was players' off-field misconduct, Kircus's case stood out

Former Denver Broncos' wide receiver David Kircus pleaded
not guilty Tuesday to a felony assault charge stemming
from a fight at a party in suburban Denver. Kircus entered his plea during a court hearing on a charge of second-degree assault for a fight on May 20. His trial is scheduled in Arapahoe District Court on Jan. 28. If convicted, Kircus could be sentenced to 5 to 16 years in prison.
