The Oakland Raiders continued their pursuit of finding
weapons to put around franchise quarterback JaMarcus Russell as
they signed wide receiver Drew Carter to a one-year deal worth $2 million yesterday. Earlier in free agency, the Raiders picked up former Pro Bowler Javon Walker to help with the passing game. Joel Segal , Carter's agent, first made the deal public.
