"We are pleased to announce that Eagles safety Quintin Demps has recently joined the RSR family," Drew Rosenhaus tweeted today. Call it a hunch, mainly because it's nothing more than that, but I see the Eagles and Quintin Demps headed for an ugly breakup. The wheels were set in motion this year during training camp and the preseason when it became evident that Demps should not, and was not going to be, a starter for this team. His lack of a desire to hit and his bonehead mistakes all made it quite clear that he was a role player on this team. Now with signing Drew Rosenhaus to become his agent, Demps appears ready to give this franchise an ultimatum regarding his future. I'm assuming it will sound something like, "Start me, trade me, or let me go." Again, I have no evidence that this is going to happen. I don't know Demps personally and of course cannot speak as to why he signed Rosenhaus.
