Campbell's play may draw attention

Quarterback Jason Campbell likely is playing to impress other teams for a job elsewhere next season. Although Campbell is a restricted free agent, it appears the Redskins will be moving in many new directions again, so Campbell's time in Washington could be drawing to a close. And if that's the case, the pool of teams that might be interested in Campbell could be increasing based his improved play of late. Campbell had his best outing of 2009 in Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints at FedEx Field. Redskins fall short in overtime

Fujita won't play for Saints today

Linebacker Scott Fujita will not play for the Saints today against the Redskins at FedEx Field. Fujita, who has a knee injury, was downgraded from probable to out, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Haynesworth, Mike Williams show improvement

Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, who sat out the last two games because of an ankle injury, retuned to practice on a limited basis today and hopes to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints at FedEx Field. "He's back," Coach Jim Zorn said. "He practiced in our team drills; looked good. He's still working throughout strengthening but it looks like he's coming on fine." Tackle-guard Mike Williams seems to be fully recovered from an ankle injury and worked with the first team at right guard. "He went with the ones today and looked good," Zorn said.
