Video: Adrian Peterson Sets the NFL Single Game Rushing Record Running Over the Chargers for 296 Yards

There aren't enough superlatives in the book to describe Adrian Peterson's afternoon and rookie season thus far. I'm not sure what's was more stunning this afternoon, that AD had 296 yards rushing or that he had 256 more than LaDainian Tomlinson. There's not one run above that doesn't make your jaw drop.

Antonio Cromartie Wants to Remind You That Adrian Peterson Wasn't the Only One to Break an NFL Record Today

While Adrian Peterson was running all over the Chargers defense , Antonio Cromartie gave San Diego some hope at the end of the first half. The Vikings lined up for a 58 yard field goal attempt, which fell just short. Cromartie caught the ball just inches from the back of the end zone, turned around, and then ran 109 yards past all of the Vikings on the way to the end zone.
