Week 16 Preview: Oakland Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars: JaMarcus Russell MAY start
mvn.com 12/21/2007 — Here it is the penultimate week of the NFL regular season. The Raiders are in the midst of yet another double digit loss season but show encouraging signs for the future unlike the last four double digit loss seasons. This week the Raiders travel to Jacksonville to take on the playoff bound Jaguars. This will be a tough road game for the Raiders, but one they may be able to pull out if they ...
Jaguars sole focus this week should be the Oakland Raiders
mvn.com 12/22/2007 — The Jaguars should maintain their focus, and stick with only paying attention to the next game. Any peeking beyond that point could result in another letdown for a team that has a history of doing just that.
Someone agrees with me on the BS Tuck Rule game v the Patriots and other thoughts very early gameday morning aginst the Jaguars
mvn.com 12/23/2007 — In about eight hours the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Oakland Raiders. As usual, I will be at work tracking the game on my cell phone hoping for a Raider win even if it kills the Raiders’ chance to get Darren McFadden. It looks like Josh McCown will be startin, but JaMarcus Russell could get extended playing time. Here are some thoughts from early morning on game day.
Warren Sapp Thrown Out After Three Unsportsmanlike Penalties
sports.aol.com 12/23/2007 — Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Warren Sapp ... remember him? ... has been thrown out of the Raiders game with the Jacksonville Jaguars after picking up three unsportsmanlike penalties . It all started when a Jags' O-lineman was called for a penalty that the Raiders declined. Take it away: Officials said the Raiders declined the penalty, and the Jaguars lined up for a 43-yard field goal ...
Jags destroy Oakland, clinch playoffs
mvn.com 12/23/2007 — Dissed and pissed, the Jacksonville Jaguars flew to Oakland and took out their frustrations on the hapless Raiders. Raider writer Brendan Sonnone looks at the playoff scenarios for the Jags.
Oakland Raiders Mauled by the Jacksonville Jaguars
mvn.com 12/24/2007 — JaMarcus Russell played most of the game getting his first extended playing time. He thew three interceptions and fumbled once as the Raiders got obliterated by the Jaguars. I am not knocking him, he is a rookie and it was his first extended playing time and the Jags are a very good defense. He has to take his lumps, and hopefully this game helps him get them out of the way.
Congratulations Raiders
thehaternation.blogspot.com 12/24/2007 — Lane Kiffin finally knows what it is like to truly be the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. And somebody had better get him the phone number for the West Virginia AD. Stat. Warren Sapp went ballistic during the Raiders embarrassing loss to the ...
