Everyone (33 of 36 experts from ESPN, CBS, SI & Deadspin) is picking Jacksonville to win today. However, no one seems to have mentioned that this is David Garrard’s first playoff game. Since 2005, QBs making their first playoff start since are 0-7 with a 55.7 rating. Tom Jackson says he is the only person in America picking the Steelers. "Guys need images of what we've done in the past, match-ups...as we move forward, we remember what happened to us in the past." ---Mike Tomlin Through Wednesday of this past week, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin forced his players to watch nothing on TV but tape of their loss to Jacksonville in week 15. Whenever people have talked about the Jacksonville Jaguars this season, they've talked about the emergence of David Garrard or the one-two punch of Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew. They haven't talked much about the defense. They will now. The Jags have picked off Ben Roethlisberger three times in the first half of their Wild Card playoff game tonight. Cornerback Rashean Mathis has two ...Jags win! Steelers go home!

If first-year Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin doesn't go for the two-point conversion about halfway through the fourth quarter, he wouldn't have had to go for it again shortly thereafter, and we would be in OT right now.Steelers rally with 19 points in 4th, but lose to Jags on FG

The past means nothing to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Pittsburgh, and neither does a frantic Steelers fourth-quarter rally. The Jaguars overcame both obstacles there for the second time in three weeks, and next up might be another date with history.Lane Kiffin is NOT leaving; Rob Ryan is most likely leaving.
RaiderSithLord posted 1/6/2008 from mvn.com
Peter King made an offhand comment at the end of the Pittsburgh Steeler Jacksonville Jaguar tilt that Lane Kiffin is not a lock to return to the Oakland Raiders next season. This flippant remark has sent shockwaves of panic though the Nation, over nothing more than speculation. It seems that every Raider fan is on edge right now. It seems that the speculation comes from the memo yesterday that ...
