Now Let's Imagine Matt Cassel As a Viking

Okay, so I'm not the first one to say this and I'm sure not going to be the last. Matt Cassel is a high priority for the Minnesota Vikings. Honestly, it's not an understatement when people say the Vikings are a talented quarterback away from the super bowl.
It gets to be such a drag when you go through yet another season with a decent at best quarterback. Adrian Peterson if he can hold on to the ball is the best running back in the league. We have a good offensive line that will get better next year. Bernard Berrian is a deep threat target.
Visanthe Shiancoe is finally coming into his own as the player we thought he would be. You take that with a very good defense and you have a good team. So you're thinking "Hey, you didn't mention a quarterbacks name in there anywhere!" Exactly. For those of you who still have faith in Tarvaris Jackson and think he will be a good quarterback next year if we give him another chance you're a buffoon.
Seriously, who are you fooling? It's good to ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NFL, Matt Cassel, Tarvaris Jackson, Minnesota Vikings, Adrian Peterson, Bernard Berrian, Gus Frerotte

Who Could Be The Jets QB Next Year?

Not only are the Jets currently lacking a head coach, they are also lacking any idea of who their quarterback will be next year. Most people expect and hope that Brett Favre will retire, but obviously with him you never know. Here is a run down of some possible options for next season:

 In-House
 1. Brett Favre
If he does come back, he needs to commit to the off-season program as the other leaders in the locker room requested. I'd honestly be shocked to see him return in 2009.

 2. Brett Ratliff
Apparently everybody in the organization likes his potential better than Kellen Clemens. Ratliff came out of nowhere to have a monster pre-season last year, and has a big time arm.

 3. Kellen Clemens
The second round pick was drafted to be the quarterback of the future but struggled as a starter in 2007 and didn't distinguish himself during training camp last year. Clemens still hasn't received any playing time behind a quality offensive line and with healthy ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NFL, New York Jets, Brett Favre, Kellen Clemens, Gus Frerotte, Thomas Jones, Jerricho Cotchery
