It looks like SI's Peter King dipped into the Kool-Aid when he was in Allen Park for the draft. King released his annual preseason power rankings and put Detroit at 13, one spot ahead of Dallas and also ahead of such notables as: Miami (19), Atlanta (20) and San Francisco (22). In particular, King mentioned Ikaika Alama-Francis as a player to watch.

Nice to see the Lions getting their draft choices signed by the start of training camp. Other interesting part of article is that Damien Woody and Bryant have restructured their contracts. Writing was on the wall for Woody that if he didn't they would have probably cut him. If he is coming in camp losing as much weight as being reported he will be of benefit along the line and back-up center.
