	<title>Kendall, Evans Hope to Return</title>
	<link>http://ballhype.com/article/kendall_evans_hope_to_return/</link>
<description>&lt;p&gt;Jason La Canfora reports: Two of the Redskins&#39; starters will be eligible for unrestricted free agency in March, with guard Pete Kendall and end Demetric Evans both saying they hope to be back with Washington after a season-ending 27-24 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park. Evans, who moved ahead of former Pro Bowler Jason Taylor at left end and tied Taylor for second on the team with 36 1/2 sacks, said he is eager to re-sign. &quot;I want to be back,&quot; Evans said. &quot;I hope they want me back.&quot; Evans, 29, came to the Redskins as a free agent in 2004, as is very valuable and versatile, able to play every position along the line in a pinch. Kendall, 35, made it through two seasons with the Redskins without missing a game after being acquired by the Jets, but knows his knees and age are an issue.

<title>A Quick Look Back ... All the Way to July</title>
	<link>http://ballhype.com/article/a_quick_look_back_all_the_way_to_july/</link>
<description>&lt;p&gt;After something like 23 weeks and 161 days, here we are at the end of the season for the Redskins. Maybe it&#39;s only natural to be reflective at this time of year, but I can&#39;t stop thinking back to that first day of camp, July 20, and the trade for Jason Taylor. That&#39;s not necessarily what I&#39;ll take away from this season, but it&#39;s what&#39;s on my mind today. What will your top memory of this season be? As has been the case for 16 weeks, we&#39;ll have inactives ASAP and we&#39;ll be twittering (RedskinsInsider) and BOGO. And there&#39;ll be the usual mobile alerts (text REDSKINS to WPOST -- 97678). Finally, a big thank you for hanging out with us up here (we&#39;re closing in on 300,000 posts) and on twitter. You guys are terrific company... and you do some of your finest work in the offseason! poll by twiigs.com
