Indianapolis head coach Tony Dungy will return to the helm of the Colts for the 2008 season, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter. The Colts have called a press conference for 4:30 p.m. ET today that will include Dungy, owner Jim Irsay, general manager Bill Polian and assistant head coach Jim Caldwell.

Colts plan Dungy announcement 4:30 est
Irsay confirmed on Sunday that he has signed Caldwell to a multi-year contract that will take into account Caldwell replacing Dungy immediately, or after the 2008 season should Dungy walk away then. It's believed Caldwell's contract will pay him approximately $2.5 million annually.
