Browns wide receiver Joe Jurevicius will miss the
first six weeks of the regular season while he
recovers from knee surgery.
As briefly mentioned in the Gary Baxter thread,
Braylon Edwards was carted off of the field yesterday
and admitted himself to the hospital a bit later in the evening. Mary Kay Cabot has the details: Edwards suffered the cut on his foot when he was running lightly in his socks during a special teams period Saturday...
With Braylon Edwards tending to his stitches over
the next couple of weeks, the Browns will have
to decide what they will do with the vacated starting receiver slot for at least two preseason games.
