The Packers reportedly have been in negotiations with
RB Ryan Grant's agent every day since last Friday.
Grant has indicated he will not report to training camp until the two sides have reached an agreement. "You would think that it would not be that difficult to get done," Grant's agent, Alan Herman said.

The news out of Packer-land not related to
Brett Favre is that runningback Ryan Grant plans to
hold out if he does not receive a new contract before camp. The 25-year-old Grant had his best NFL season to date last year with the Packers, and really shored up the running game for Green Bay down the stretch.

Ryan Grant's agent Alan Herman has said Grant
will not sign the minimum tender of $370,000 for
a second-year player and won't report to training camp until he has a long-term contract. Herman said both sides have shown a willingness to compromise because of Grant's unusual circumstances. He said the sides have agreed on the likely length of the contract, though he wouldn't divulge it.
