The Seattle Seahawks reached an agreement with rookie
defensive end Lawrence Jackson on Thursday night, making him
the NFL team's first first-round draft pick since 2003 to agree to contract terms in time for the first practice at training camp.
Seahawks players began arriving for training camp, which
opens this morning at Northwest University. Bobby Engram is
expected to be present, but several other players aren't expected to be there or won't be able to practice.
