The Eagles have released LB Takeo Spikes, their
top defensive addition from last off-season. Some Birds fans
will definitely be scratching their heads over this one, although the move had been rumored before, and could mean they're freeing up cap space.

Looks like Takeo Spikes season is over. He
tore his rotator cuff in the win against the
Cowboys. There is a chance he could try to play through it, but I doubt the Eagles will want him to go that route. He will need to have surgery to have his shoulder repaired.Shawn Andrews might not play the final two games either. He suffered a sprained MCL in his knee. ..Continue Reading>>

reportedly traded DT Darwin Walker and a 2008 late-round

Breaking News The Philadelphia Eagles will announce that
they have released linebacker Jeremiah Trotter today, Jay Glazer
of Fox Sports is reporting . Trotter, who has played in Philadelphia for seven of his nine NFL seasons, has registered over 100 tackles in six different seasons, including each of the last two.
