Two years after winning the league MVP, Shaun
Alexander has been released by the Seattle Seahawks .
The 30-year-old Alexander had an up and down career in Seattle, posting three trips to the Pro Bowl, the aforementioned MVP, but had his numbers drop considerably the last two seasons. Here is Alexander's complete statement regarding the release.
