GM George McPhee said he wouldn't be surprised if Alex Ovechkin returns in time for this weekend's games. "He's doing well," McPhee said. "As we said, it will be week-to-week. The Caps have gained one Russian winger and lost another. Alex Ovechkin will return against the Rangers tonight, but Alexander Semin was sent home to Arlington to see a doctor, Coach Bruce Boudreau said.
