Yes it’s the Holiday Season but for “Hockey
Fans” Christmas time means the World Junior Championships. What
are the World Junior Championships or the “WJC’s? It’s a tournament for the best players Under 20 years old represent their country. This year the tournament is being held in Liberic and Pardubice Czech Republic from December 26th to January 5th.
For a first game of the year, it
was alright. The Sens had some good things to
take out of the 4-3 OT loss to Pittsburgh in the season opener in Stockholm, Sweden--notably one point in the standings. But it still left something to be desired.
