The New Jersey Devils have signed Fedor Fedorov,
Sergei’s younger brother. Fedor spent last year with Dynamo
Moscow, tallying 26 points in 49 games.
The Pittsburgh Penguins will open the 2008-09 season
in Sweden with back-to-back games against the Ottawa Senators
on October 4 and 5 at the Globe Arena in Stockholm. Both games will start at 2:30 p.m.
