BD is a published writer and hockey blogger. He is one of the founding members of the NY Islander's Blog Box program. He is also the NY Islanders blogger for Hockeybuzz.com. He, along with his Ranger fan blogging brother, created the Sibling Rivalry Rangers vs Islanders blogs.

BD has been written up along with his fellow Blog Boxers in Sports Illustrated and SportsBusiness Journal.

By day, BD is a technology, design and production guru for a large 100 year old publishing firm in NYC. He awaits to be rescued from his tower by a better paycheck in the world of writing. But until then, he is a chubby, gregarious, and witty fellow stuck in two worlds. In 2008, he will attempt his first fiction novel. So hopefully, he will actually start by 2009.

BD's current ego footnote is that John Buccigross knew who he was at the Islanders 2008 Entry Draft Party. That and a box of CrackerJacks gives him a prize.

The Isles are going to be pushed around and bullied another season because nobody seems to feel the dire urgency to find someone who can take care of business.
