I did get a chance... to watch today’s contest, and there really isn’t a whole lot to say about the events which transpired. Joey Gathright Can Jump Over Pitchers Too…
— mvn.com — Most of you remember my post a few months ago chronicling the jumping ability of Joey Gathright.... We watched in amazement as the short former Rays outfielder leaped over two sedans in a vacant parking lot. A young man back then, Gathright was signed in part because of this freakish athletic ability, making it all the way to the majors leagues despite a lack of overall baseball acumen.
