Giggin On Ya

Giggin On Ya

Written by two New York sports fans, Ben and Becky, Giggin On Ya focuses on area teams - Knicks, Mets, Giants and NJ Nets (close enough) - and national sports happenings we deem worthy and/or interesting.

Giggin On Ya was inspired by Shaquille O'Neal's "hit" song Giggin On Em off the Shaq Diesel album (of course). In the song, the big man calls out those he has "gigged on" a storied list which includes the likes of Alvin Robertson, Greg Anthony, Manute Bol and even the ubiquitous 'Country People.' Essentially, this song is the sporting worlds equivalent of Tupac's Hit Em' Up with about 1/100th the intensity or potential for violence.

We keep the Diesel's spirit alive through this blog, giggin on those who are deserving while approaching the national and local sporting scenes from different angles.
