With only two weeks left, I think we’re
far enough along to compile our lists for the
biggest disappointments of the 2008-09 fantasy season. We’re talking about the guys who absolutely destroyed your fantasy teams and kept you up late at night as you filled your pillow with tears.

Line of the Night: With all the attention
Dwyane Wade has been getting lately, Chris Paul (1.45)
reminds us not to forget about him. He is - after all - still the best fantasy player in the league right now. Paul notched his league leading 6th triple-double (30/10/13) of the year.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Really, I
hate dipping into the same well known as Rasual
Butler (0.61), but there isn’t much to choose from today and he is still only owned in 40% of Yahoo leagues. Butler scored 18 points and added a couple steals and threes in the win.

Line of the Night: You may not remember
because it came and went so fast, but there
was a time not long ago when Peja Stojakovic (0.95) was one of the best fantasy players in the league.

Line of the Night: In a night full
of freakish performances, Jermaine O’Neal (1.5) is freak of
the night, and it has to be due to his 9 blocked shots. O’Neal also added 22 points and 9 rebounds in a loss to the Lakers, but we all know exactly why the player rater loves him today.

Line of the Night: It was a season
high 30 points for Mike Dunleavy (1.25), who in
his 13th game back from injury, finally, finally found his shot (not that his fantasy owners were getting anxious or anything). Dunleavy finished 10-18 from the field and 4-8 from three on the night.

And Brandon Roy also gets an honor only
slightly less dubious than the GMTR line of the
night – he’s the official US Army Strong performance of the night. Because the US Army enjoys nothing more than thievery…

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: DeAndre Jordan
(1.11). If you had listened to Erik, you would
have started Jordan yesterday and gotten 23, 12 and 4 blocks and honestly looked like a genius. Jordan, who is starting for the injured Marcus Camby, is a viable play until Camby et al returns.

Today marks a very important milestone - it’s
the exact halfway point of the regular season, which
means there is still plenty of time to get your fantasy team back in the playoff hunt or to screw up your first place team. That’s why Nels and I continue to match on with the lines!

Line of the Night: They aren’t quite the
Golden State Warriors, but the Knicks do their part
of help out the opposing team’s fantasy lines. And yesterday, Andre Iguodala (1.11) had his shot falling against New York, going 10-17 from the floor and finishing with a 28/10/7 line.

We’ve been dogging him on GMTR this year,
but Oden delivered last night with 17 points and
13 boards in the start against the Bulls. Of course, it was against the Bulls and their frontcourt made up of inflatable defenders, so if we’re grading on a curve, maybe Oden’s line is actually more of a C+.

Line of the Night: Stephen Jackson (1.15). Only
2 threes for SJax last night, but the 30/7/7
with 2 steals and 2 blocks capped an all around nice game for him. Thanks to Jackson and Marco “Rocky” Belinelli, the Warriors also had a rare nice night themselves, outlasting Toronto 117-111.

Line of the Night: As a guy who
took a chance on Jermaine O’Neal (1.27) in multiple
leagues, I haven’t been completely happy with the experience of him sucking hard. But O’Neal is starting to feel the rhythm of the Raptors offense during the last 3 games.

Taking advantage of the Golden State matchup, Granger
scored a non-career-high 41 points, adding 11 boards, 6
assists and 2 blocks. He was also 17-17 from the line last night, which means he just went 42-42 from the line in the past week. Take your world record and shove it, Dr. Tom.
